medEvil Project Update

Here's another update on the "medEvil" project and another screenshot from the project. Currently, most of the graphic changes are finalized, and there have been several volunteers to assist with the mapping. Sounds have not been changed yet, though many of them will be taken from previously released Monkeeworks projects. Music has not been decided on as of yet, though there are some plans for where it will come from.
Here is a list of some of the major code changes (already implemented):
- four different kinds of melee only enemies, including one boss
- five different weapons (one found with cheats only)
- between level text screens (similar to OMS)
- ten levels total, no secret, no episode selection
- changed enemy behavior and health
- some animated walls
- shading in certain levels
- several other odds and ends
We're currently looking for some two-frame decent looking fire sprites, so if anyone has any to offer, please send them to dhw_majik_monkee@yahoo.com or samueliams@yahoo.com. At the moment, no other project assistance is needed, though there will probably be a need to convert some music files later down the road. More to come at a later date.
