2005: Wolf3Demo - Return Of Hitler
Released |
|
|

Here's a slightly
different version of the 9 level set for
shareware made by Jose Software. The first 2
levels are still small and fairly similar but
the later levels are more extensive. Most are
quite heavily detailed. There's a number of
graphics changes but the original Wolf3D feel is
retained. Some levels need pushwalls opened to
complete them. I'm not sure what is different in
this version - apart from it coming as a
rar file. Available here. Wolfenstein 3D Return
Of Hitler will have 60 levels just like the
regular game but you can only download the demo
at present. The full version will be completed

2005: The Nazi Show!
Released |
|
|

Michael Collin has
released 'The Nazi Show!'. There are 18
continuous levels that are quite extensive. Some
of the graphics are from the original Wolf 3D
and some are from elsewhere (credits are given)
and there are crisp new sounds. The chain saw
guards and helicopters look and sound quite
effective. Some modified wall portraits help
create a party atmosphere somewhat, hence the
title, but on the whole the original Wolf 3D
feel is retained. Available here.

2005: medEvil Update |
|
|

Here's an email
from Majik Monkee: "Here's an update on
medEvil: Currently, progress on the project is
going very well. Graphics, sounds, and VGAGRAPH
art are 100% complete, and most of the music and
text files for the game have been completed as
well. All that remains is the maps, and
currently there are several mappers involved in
the project. The coding was basically finished,
but we developed some ideas later that seemed
too good not to incorporate in the game, so
there is more being added to it at the moment
(details will have to wait until later). Several
of the changes have not yet appeared in a
Wolfenstein mod (at least not to our
knowledge).
In
the meantime, click on the thumbnail for a set
of pictures of enemies/hazards you will face in
the game. and also for a screenshot from the
first level. More to come soon, hopefully! Still
no release date is being estimated. If anyone
has any questions or comments about the game,
'medEvil', they can email them to me
at dhw_majik_monkee@yahoo.com. -
