2006: Bug Fix For The False Spear
Released |

|
WLHack has released
a maps patch (v1.7) for 'The False Spear'. It
fixes a missing key bug on level 5. Although it
was possible to exit the level via a secret
elevator, it was not possible to access the
normal exit elevator. Click here for the 'maps only' patch. The full zip
file has also been updated and is available
here.

KFH Games have
released a third patch for their 'Wolfenstein
Reloaded - Final Version'. This version contains
some new exe updates, plus some minor map
and intrart changes. Although 'saved games' from
the earlier versions won't work, the unlocking
of later episodes (config file) will. Click here for the patch. The full
version has also been updated and is available
here. Needs the original
AUDIOT.WL6 and AUDIOHED.WL6 files from the full
Wolf 3D game to play. The versions I have
posted are in rar file format but other
formats are available from KFH Games, including a
self-extracting exe
version.

2006: Spear Of Destiny Mappack

Megabyte has
released a new set of 21 maps for Spear Of
Destiny. It's called the 'Spear Of Destiny
Mappack' and all 21 levels are extensive, well
designed and nicely decorated. There are no
graphics or sound changes though some basic code
changes like ceiling colours and par times have
been made. Slight adjustments have been made to
the status bar due to an extra score slot. The
coding was done by WLHack. Will especially suit
those who like the original Spear game.
Available here. Also needs the
audiohed.sod, audiot.sod, and vswap.sod files
from the original full Spear Of Destiny game to
play.

2006: Wolf 3D Mod

Conner94 tells me
that 'War Storm' has been restarted with a
better, cleaner engine and is now being done by
both himself and WL Hack. Screenshots will be
available soon, along with feature listing, as
soon as more of the graphics are
finished. Conner has also started a
small map set containing '6 maps for Spear of
Destiny'. It contains nothing but maps, no
additional sounds, graphics or source changes.

given the following info about 2 of his upcoming
addons:"

Colour and Music Order Fix and putting all files
together is the last thing to be
done. This game has been on hold since
early july 2006, and I've no plans starting it
up again right now.
FATFACE RETURNS (NEW

19 Levels in All: 23 Some
small ceiling colour and music order regarding
stuff to be done. I'm currently taking
a small break for this game, to focus on the
Mapset, that has been talked about on the
DieHard Wolfer's Forums.

This month's Dome
awards go to WLHack for 'The False Spear',
KFH Games for 'Wolfenstein Reloaded' and
Paal Olstad for 'Wolf-Extra III: Parts 1 -
6'. For more info on these sets - please

were 3 awards in one month was in May
2002!!

Here's a collection
of 21 maps made and put together by ack for use
with Spear Of Destiny. The collection is
called 'Archives - Volume I'. Some maps have
been modified since they were first made but
they are all extensive and well designed. They
are also well detailed and quite atmospheric.
They are fairly difficult to beat at times on
the highest difficulty level. No new
graphics. Click on the thumbnail for
notes by ack, some screenshots and the
download.

ANZ released |

Jose Gutierrez has
released 'Wolfenstein 4: Attack Of The Nazi
Zombies' There are 60 levels though episode one
is mainly made with the creator program,
and on each of the other 5 episodes, only the
first and boss levels are new. There are a
number of new graphics and some basic code
changes like episode names and a much increased
ammo limit. Available here.

final part and as with the first five parts,
there are 4 compact but very intense levels. See

being worked on by Carnevil and JJ. Here's the
latest changes: - huge bug
extermination - own multiplayer engine

kailera.dll) - JJ's first full skin
with taunting - JJ's taunting
sounds

The False Spear

WLHack has released
'The False Spear'. There are 21 very extensive
and well detailed levels with plenty of secret
areas. Most of the graphics are modified but
there are a few original ones from Spear.
There are changed sounds and a number of
advanced code changes including four keys,
exploding drums and columns, weather effects,
intrart and ceiling/floor textures. It all
blends well together and those who like the
Spear feel will not be disappointed.

Wolfenstein Reloaded Updated Version

New Graphic Collection

Megabyte has
released a collection of graphics that can be
used for general use in other addons. There are
a number of walls and objects, plus at least a
series of sequences for at least one new actor.
Please note that all graphics are in the
DOOM palette.

Wolfenstein Reloaded

KFH Games have
released 'Wolfenstein Reloaded - v1.0 Final'.
There are 60 levels that are extensive and
nicely designed though later episodes can only
be played by completing the preceding one.
Virtually all graphics have been changed, their
vision is for a Wolf 3D type feel but in
their own style and it works well. There are a
lot of code changes like optional ceiling/floor
textures, shading and automatic weapon
selection. There's also intrart and a
comprehensive 'read this' section. Available
here. Updated August 5 with a
new version. Needs the original
AUDIOT.WL6 and AUDIOHED.WL6 files from the full
Wolf 3D game to
play.

Cult'. It's a good 'all round' set and
everything blends together well. For more info

Kyo Kusanagi and
Mac Mendoza has released 'The Lost World Part
3: Heretic Cult'. There are 40 mostly
extensive and well decorated levels. Virtually
all graphics are changed and blend well together
and also with the changed sounds. There's a lot
of enemy behaviour, changed floor and ceiling
textures, help/intrart, colour shading, 2 new
weapons, a Kill and Item Count, and many other
features... Available here. Updated July 25 (level
9 map missing key
fixed).

IMF Tunes Collection

Tricob has updated
the collection of IMF Tunes that were first
posted July 7. He supplied the
following info: "There are three updates to
the IMFs and a couple of updates to the text
file. The volume of the drums for two IMFs is
corrected, while the Twin Cobra IMF has a single
note changed at the end so that the song will
repeat itself less awkwardly." Available from
New Tunes. This collection
replaces the one released
earlier.

released 'Wolf-Extra III Part Two'. As with the
first part in this series of six parts, there
are 4 compact but very intense levels. The
graphics are also similar, that is, a mix of
original Spear graphics with some new
ones. Each part also has a different exe,
and therefore some different code changes.
Playing the game often requires a lot of thought
- see the enclosed text file for more info
before playing. It's available at Wolf-Extra
III.

Here's a set that
WLHack made when he was 12 years old. It's
called 'The Early Years' and has 21 changed
levels for Spear. Some of the levels are
based partly on the originals but they've been
made more difficult to beat. Graphics are from
various sources but many are by AReyeP and Zach
Higgins. Credit and more info is given in the
enclosed text file. It all blends together quite
well. Available here. Needs the full Spear Of
Destiny game to
play.

'Wolf-Extra III Part One' which was
released by Paal Olstad a few days ago. The 4
levels are quite compact though they are very
intense and well detailed. There's a mix of
original Spear and newer graphics which blend
together well. Code changes include four keys
and poison puddles. Playing the game often
requires a lot of thought - see the enclosed

Here's a dropped
game that Thomas Weiling and Dean Horton were
working on. Only the first level has been
completed though the 2nd is quite substantially
done. There's room for 20 seamless levels and
three secret levels. New mapedit data files for
the game are included. There are many changed
graphics and sounds though the Wolf3D feel
is retained. Coding features include MLI
Removed, a 300 Ammo Limit, a One-Up which gives
200+ and a 1000 points and 4 keys. Available
