Some of the levels are based partly on the originals but they've been made more difficult to beat. Graphics are from various sources but many are by AReyeP and Zach Higgins. It all blends together quite well. End Of Destiny AReyeP and MCS Yes Yes Yes 26 normal levels, plus secret and challenge levels All None The level design is excellent, and virtually all graphics have been changed. Code changes include ceiling/floor textures, weather effects (some levels), a fireball machine, backpack, rocket launcher, mines, pushwall switches, intermission screens etc etc. Erlangen Ken O'Brien No Yes No 21 Maps, Vswap Reg Spear Style and layout is similar to the original, but there's some modified graphics here too. Not impossible to beat, but some keys are hidden. Escape From Steinberg Castle Valts No No No 5 Maps Reg Spear The levels are of a fair size and they are all well decorated. There are lots of secret areas to explore, some containing keys necessary to finish the levels. It's quite a good set and will especially suit those who prefer the original graphics. The False Spear WLHack Yes Yes Yes 21 All None Very extensive and well detailed levels with plenty of secret areas. Most of the graphics are modified but there are a few original ones from Spear. There are changed sounds and a number of advanced code changes including four keys, exploding drums and columns, weather effects, intrart and ceiling/floor textures. It all blends well together and those who like the Spear feel will not be disappointed. Festung Robert S. Bradbury No No No 21 Maps Reg Spear Not as well designed as Robert's other set - see Mission One. The Fall Of Tails Nanaki Yes Yes Yes 20 All None Fair sized and mostly lightly decorated levels. Although there are some new graphics and sounds, the original Spear Of Destiny feel remains. Footsteps To Despair John Bucksnort Yes Yes Yes 9 All None Final set in the Tragedy At Istanbul series.
