Here are several versions of the original Wolfenstein 3-D shareware sets. Several of the objects and portraits in the beta version are not as developed as in the 1.0 version. There are also some differences in the maps, especially level 10. There are some bugs - the pushwall action is weird and you can't access level 10 from the secret elevator in level 1 (though it's on a supplied saved game). For SDL shareware versions of Wolf3D/Spear Of Destiny: Credits go to Ripper for his development work on the Wolf SDL port, BrotherTank for his compiling work, and id software/Apogee for the original shareware versions. The SDL shareware versions are ideal for using as a base to run most shareware mods in SDL. Just make a copy of the SDL version and then add the changed files from the mod.
